Raw Sugar Body Wash

Raw Sugar Body Wash | Review

I’ve been looking for a new body wash for a while now. The first step in going vegan is changing up your diet, which I’ve done, but the next step is being mindful of the products you use.

As such, once my body wash ran out, I went to Target. Turns out, they have a natural beauty section with products like Acure and Dr. Bronner’s – both of which I love.

But rather than try something I’ve used before, I picked up something new: Raw Sugar Body Wash. The vanilla bean and sugar one, to be exact.

Turns out, you can only get Raw Sugar at Target. It’s convenient, because come on, there’s a Target everywhere, but that does limit your chances of finding it cheaper elsewhere.

For the sake of research, I checked Amazon, and they have one listing for $18.99. Suddenly, the $7 I paid at Target seems cheap.

That being said, I have nothing but good things to say about Raw Sugar. It’s worth the $7. This was my first time trying an organic, vegan, and cruelty-free body wash and I’m not disappointed.

Let’s break it down:

  • It lathers, but it’s not a super rich, artificial later. It’s obvious that this is an organic product, which means it doesn’t have the added chemicals that create a rich later in regular soaps. Frankly, I like it. It’s no fuss. There’s enough of a lather there for me, personally.
  • It smells exactly like what the description says – vanilla bean and sugar.
  • The bottle is hefty, which is a nice off-set for the price.
  • For each product the company sells, they donate a bar of soap to a family in need. That means they’re growing as a business, while simultaneously helping others.

Be sure to check it out if you’ve been looking for a vegan, cruelty-free body wash. This one is no fuss, no chemicals, and no funny business!
